Presentation is All in the Details

Presentation is all about the details, a mix of design and texture. Just like wrapping a present, the details can enhance or distract from the overall look of your invitations. You want something subtle but complementary.
So, let’s tie it all together right from the start with something that will help set the tone for your wedding.
Wrap it up in a bow, tie it up with a tag and string, and tuck it into a colorful envelope.

Be creative and think about the story you want to tell. Choose something that shares a piece of your love story. Below is a brief list of ideas. Please keep in mind that the invitation thickness will affect the postage.

  • Paper: accent cards, envelopes, envelope liners, tags, washi tape, sticker seals
  • Fabric: ribbon, string, twine, lace, leather
  • Natural/Botanical: dried flowers, seeds, feather
  • Design: monogram card, painted edges, die cut, wax seal, adhesive gems
  • Other: vintage buttons, postage, address stamp,

Only one more step before mailing your invitations to all of your guests. So, let’s make this the happiest mail in their box!

Guest Addressing with Calligraphy

Add a personal touch with calligraphy. Coordinate to have the addresses hand-written before mailing. When you order your invitations, let your stationer know, so they can have envelopes ready in advance.

Custom or Vintage Postage

There are some really great options to make mailing your invitations even more special.Wedding postage is available at the USPS, or you can find vintage/retro stamps in a variety of styles, or go custom with a photo or graphic design.

Postmark

Add a touch of whimsey by having your invitations sent from a romantic location or a place that really means something to you. With postmarks like: Bridal Veil, Oregon – Bliss, New York – Romance, Arkansas – Loving, Texas – Juliette, Georgia – Romeo, Colorado – < For more postmark locations, click here>
